BBQube Warranty Terms & Conditions

To receive your warranty, your BBQube must have been purchased from an authorised stockist within our expert retailer network. You must also register your warranty within 30 days of the purchase date. The commencement
date for the warranty period is the date of purchase.

During the registration process, the details of the expert retailer from whom you purchased your product will be required for your warranty to be activated. Any product purchased outside of our expert retailer network or not registered within the stated timeframe will only carry a standard 12 month statutory warranty.

This warranty is non-transferable if the customer sells the appliance within the warranty period.

Warranty Coverage

The BBQube unit has a 2-year warranty covering the integrity of the main body and a 12-month warranty for non consumable items, including:

  • Door
  • Handles
  • Lid
  • Grill
  • Thermometer
  • Thermocouple (excluding battery)
  • Castors
  •  Springs
  • Door catch

This warranty covers defects in the material build, quality and manufacturing.

Consumable Items

The following items are considered to be consumable and are not covered under this warranty:

  • Firebricks
  • Baffle
  • Grill
  • Glass
  • Glass Rope seals
  • Lid seal
  • Ash pan
  • Grate
  • Protective internal shield doors
  • Lid protective liner

These parts will deteriorate over time with use. Firebricks may develop hairline cracks, which will not affect the functioning of the unit. However, bricks must be replaced if larger cracks expose the metalwork of the unit body.

The lifespan of consumable items is affected by frequency of use and exposure to high temperatures. This warranty is based on a standard domestic environment.

Paint Finish and Corrosion

The BBQube has been manufactured to high standards with a specialist paint finish to guard against corrosion. However, since it is an outdoor product, atmospheric conditions may impact its surface. A reasonable amount of wear and tear or corrosion is expected.

  • Any scratching or scuffing of the painted surface may leave the unit more vulnerable to weather damage.
  • The warranty does not cover rusting or colour fading.
  • In coastal areas, maintenance and paint touch-ups may be required due to increased salt and moisture levels

Cosmetic Issues

Cosmetic deterioration will not affect the performance of the BBQube and is not covered under the warranty.

Warranty Claims

Any warranty claim should be addressed to your BBQube dealer
or stockist initially and must include:

  • Proof of purchase
  • Photographic evidence supporting the claim

The warranty does not cover fair wear and tear.

Use of Genuine BBQube Spare Parts

During the warranty period, only genuine BBQube spare parts must be used for servicing and maintenance. These can be purchased directly from Percy Doughty by contacting our customer service team, please see the below contact details.
